Thoughts on the brand statement “For Crafting Tomorrow”
What does the NS TOOL company produce?
As a company specializing in cemented carbide small-diameter end mills, NS TOOL established in 1954, has grown to become the leading company in this field.
Of course the production of end mill tools is the heart of our company. But what we really deliver will come a little further down the line: innovations not yet on the market, and solutions that make dreams and ideas real. The products we produce will always improve the convenience of people's lives.
NS TOOL is crafting the potential of monozukuri. It is also building people's futures. The brand statement “For Crafting Tomorrow” expresses the mission that our employees have always carried with them.
Becoming a company where employees have pride.
Last year we focused on our source of “pride” when we introduced our corporate brand. We wanted to share that wonderful feeling again across our company.
Our products are not the famous kinds of things people notice. Things that people can see, such as automobiles and buildings, are easy to explain, and children can easily understand what their parents do. But without understanding, children will not be interested or attracted to the manufacturing industry. We sometimes fear that Japan's manufacturing industry will fade away as its real value escapes people's notice.
We want to ensure that we know the real value of what we are producing, correctly understand how helpful our work to society, take personal pride in our work, and properly convey our pride to our children. We hope our children understand well and respect to take over it in the future.
The reliability of “Made in Japan”
Just as an excellent artist requires a top-notch paintbrush, today's smartphones and medical equipment require our technology. What supports minute, delicate monozukuri with zero tolerance for compromise? Our promise to deliver extremely high-level precision, top quality, and stability.
NS TOOL responds to that promise with the reliability of “Made in Japan”. We look back modestly and train repeatedly, never becoming sloppy or giving up. Day by day, we advance into the future with courage. I believe this is our true value at NS TOOL.
