2nd report as of March 18 regarding effects on NS TOOL Group by an earthquake hit coast off Fukushima Prefecture.

The following is our report as of March 17 regarding effects on NS TOOL Group by an earthquake hit coast off Fukushima Prefecture last night.

Since the state of emergency for the Tokyo area will be lifted on March 21, operation of NS TOOL will be back to normal from March 22nd(Mon). The office hours are scheduled as follows:

Status against a magnitude 7.3 Japan Tohoku Earthquake on 13th(Sat.) February 2021. NS TOOL headquarters in Tokyo, other offices and factories of all group companies outside Tohoku area had no or small impacts.

Announcement of the adjusted daily operation schedule to handle the situation and to keep safety of employees from COVID-19. The infection stays around and NS TOOL continues the measures. The office hours are schedule as follows from 1st December.

Update information of our response about operation schedule adjustment in October. Office closing hour extends at 17:00(JST) while opening hour stays at current 10:00. The schedule is flexible by any situation change. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by those continuous restriction against COVID-19. NS TOOL keeps taking the measures for prevention of infection and making our best effort to provide quality services.

NS TOOL has been shortened the daily operation time to handle the situation and to keep safety of employees from COVID-19. The infection stays around and still need extra care against further expansion. NS TOOL continues the current measures and operation schedule even in and after August.

Update information for operation plan against COVID-19. Tokyo area where NS TOOL headquarters located is still in effect of the emergency declaration. Despite possible release of the call in a short period, NS TOOL will continue the current measures and operation schedule until the end of June.

Related response for limited operation by NS TOOL towards COVID-19 continues as follows;

Update report for the infection of the director and suspension of operation in the headquarters. After the measures include identifying close contacts and sterilization of the office, we have received confirmation of business resume from the local government health authority. Operation of the headquarters will resume tomorrow on 8th April.

This is to announce that one of directors of NS TOOL who regularly work at headquarters has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) on 6th April.
